Malcolm L. Markle, 85, of Hanover, PA entered into God's eternal care, Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center, Hanover, PA.

Born November 16, 1929 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late John P. and Mertie H. (Wentz) Markle. Malcolm was the loving husband of the late Charlotte M. (Reichart) Markle who died March 30, 2012.

Mr. Markle was a graduate of Eichelberger High School Class of 1947. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA

Malcolm retired from being a stone mason working most of his life in the Hanover Area.

Mr. Markle enjoyed woodworking and was very detail oriented especially in the painting and finishing of his work.

Malcolm is survived by four children, Brian R. Markle of Shippensburg, PA, Bruce A. Markle of Hanover, PA, Bradford L. Markle of Taylorsville, NC, and Brent D. Markle of Easton, PA; 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Broderick C. Markle and a brother James Markle.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Malcolm's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with his son, Pastor Brian R. Markle officiating. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Malcolm may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
