Someone here posted a link to a website that had all the pages of the store catalogs for Sears, JC Penney and Montgomery Ward. I looked through all the Christmas books toy sections for the years 1959 to 1999. i started with 1959 because that is when the Barbie doll was first sold, and I ended with 1999 because I stopped buying new doll merchandise that year. So I hope that someone else can someday fill in the holes regarding the walker dolls.
The three catalogs did not list walking dolls every year, and many of the dolls never had names. They ranged in height from 25 to 36 inches. I am going to list for you the dolls I found that had names, and the years they were sold. If you want more details regarding unnamed dolls or their hair or skin colors, just send me a private message. Listing everything would take too long.
This is what I found. If there's a question mark, it means I have been unable to figure out the manufacturer. The number refers to the doll's height.

1965: JC Penney Uneeda Penelope 32, Horsman Thirstee Walker 27, Eegee Annette 26.
1966: JCP Penney Horsman Mary Poppins 36, Horsman Thirstee Walker 27, Uneeda Penelope 32. Montgomery Ward Ideal Goody Two Shoes 27, Uneeda Penelope 32, Horsman Mary Poppins 27. Sears Horsman Mary Poppins 36.
1969: Montgomery Ward Ideal Betty Big Girl 30, ? Sally 31.
