欧博allbetTurkey! (Turkey! Time to Strike)
“Turkey? Like the country?”
“Oh no, this is definitely in Japan.”
“So, like chicken?”
“No, it’s definitely not an anime about that.”
“Oh, it’s bowling…”
“Oh turkey as in the three strikes? Oh yeah, now I know what this is abou—”
“TI-TIME TRAVEL?”
Pretty much my blind rundown watching this anime.

Right off the bat, this is not a CGDCT. The girls are cute, yes, but what they’re going through certainly isn’t. No, not the bowling—the time travel. Heads up: they get transported to the Sengoku era (medieval Japan, basically). Why isn’t that cute, you ask? Watch Elusive Samurai and you’ll understand, but to shorten your research, let's just say, this anime shouldn't be PG-13.
The story itself feels truly original, because, honestly, I’ve never seen any anime—or any media at all—about a schoolgirl who likes bowling getting teleported to feudal Japan. It’s a fresh concept with a great idea. But the tone switches really hampered my laid‑back enjoyment: happy and comedic, then dramatic, then a bit of thriller, then back to comedy. This is true horror, because you never know what to expect next. Like Prima Doll, which puts cute characters in a war‑torn world—the same dread applies here. If you’re invested in the characters, you’ll pray the next episode isn’t “that” episode. And since this is an original project, there’s no manga spoilers to lean on—nobody fucking knows what’s coming, nobody to ask "this girl gonna be okay right ?,she's definitely fine right? Their friend would be saved right ?" question to,nobody can help you with that anxiety. The only one that can help you is God, hoping and praying it ends happily.
Now, about the bowling: I don’t think it’s the main point. It’s clear the creator wants to tell a story that’s not just about bowling. Sometimes it feels like bowling is just seasoning on the main course, and it’s kind of hilarious—why bowling? You’ve heard of yuri‑bait, yaoi‑bait? This is bowling‑bait. I don’t know why they do that, or who the target audience is—drunken, heartbroken people who like anime?
The animation is as jumpy as the tone. Sometimes it looks amazing, then the quality drops and it feels half‑assed. The music is decent—good enough not to skip, but not catchy enough to replay.
There’s also a very, very tiny bit of fanservice—maybe intentional, maybe not—just a sprinkle via tasteful angles.
Overall? Not really recommended if you’re only here for bowling. Other than that, it’s a really enjoyable ride.
