Ibanez RG7421
RG7421 is the seven-string variant of the RG421, also a new model introduced at 2013 NAMM show in Anaheim, Ca. This seven stringer comes with a standard 25-1/2" scale, which is a standard at Ibanez guitars. Also, this feature is good for styles like groove metal, where the lowest string should anyway be a bit looser. Ibanez pickups are famous for their versatility and quality tone they give. This particular combo can pull off any style of metal and a wide variety of rock sub-genres. Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. Neck is a standard three-piece, it`s made of maple and equipped with super sleek wizard contour. It`s bolted to the body and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with regular RG features. Body is solid, double-cut and made of basswood. It`s flat on top, contoured in the back and equipped with deep cutaway for easier access to the upper frets.
