The Royal House of Norway
The Royal House of Norway belongs to the House of Glücksburg. The members of the Norwegian Royal House are Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja and Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Princess Ingrid Alexandra.

HM The King
King Harald V, born on 21 February 1937. Son of King Olav V and Crown Princess Märtha, Succeeded his father as king of Norway on 17 January 1991.


HM The Queen
Queen Sonja, born Sonja Haraldsen on 4 July 1937. Married then Crown Prince Harald in Oslo Cathedral on 29 August 1968. Became queen of Norway on 17 January 1991.


HRH The Crown Prince
Crown Prince Haakon Magnus, born on 20 July 1973. Son of King Harald V and Queen Sonja. Heir to the throne of Norway.


HRH The Crown Princess
Crown Princess Mette-Marit, born Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby on 19 August 1973. Married Crown Prince Haakon Magnus in Oslo Cathedral on 25 August 2001.


HRH Princess Ingrid Alexandra
Princess Ingrid Alexandra, born on 21 January 2004. Second in line for the Norwegian throne after her father, The Crown Prince.
